October Updates

Although we have been officially “In Baltimore” for thirty days now, I have actually been in Atlanta for parts of two weeks of the four. It is amazing to see and hear what God is doing in our world. A great deal of my time this month has been spent getting aligned with what I need to know to be a team player in I’ve been blessed to be in two different planters’ trainings which were a blessing. Chrissie and I have also been very blessed to get to attend a couple of “Church Planter” events for fellowship. You will see a brief update on one of our planters just below.

There are so many amazing planters…we will try to introduce them to you as we go along. We have had the privilege to host a couple of churches who are praying about partnering with Baltimore’s team. THANK YOU, potential partners, for your interest in our city. It has been such a blessing for you folks to come up here AND for us to get to come to you! If you are a potential partner and you are reading this…come join us!!!

Cockeysville Baptist Church is home for Chrissie and I right now. We have been so blessed to come along side this amazing congregation to see if we can help each other reach this area. We are looking to connect this older existing church family to some new planters and push back darkness together! Pray for the Cockeysville Community!

We’ve got to meet Buddy and his dog. They are right across the street. Chrissie and I also met a gentleman from Nepal who is a believer, but has to work on Sundays. So, we want to be his family! Pray for God to open houses of peace!!!

We plan to be in NC on Wednesday, October 7, at Mt. Anderson Baptist Church. We are looking forward to seeing Rev. Donald Cline and his church family! We are excited about a special group of pastors from NC coming up for a vision tour October 26-28. (Thank you Chris!) I will try to give more updates in next news letter!

There’s so much I want to say, but let it suffice to ask that you pray for the movement of God to continue through our labors here in Baltimore! From the NAMB team to the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware (BCMD) to the Baltimore Baptist Association (BBA), we are amazed at what we see God doing…and very humbled to get to be a part of it!

We’re trying to keep this newsletter concise, so I’ve got to quit! In summary…God has done more in this first month than we could have ever imagined! Pray for us as we pray for you and thank God for you and your partnership. We would love to hear from you, so feel free to text, call, or email either of us through our contacts below. We love you all.
